Kingston Ontario History
Kingston was founded in 1673 as a French trading post known as Fort Frontenac. Then in 1841 Kingston was named the first capital of the Province of Canada. Holding this title for several years, and even having the first Prime Minister of Canada, Sir John A. MacDonald Kingston has always been known as a fantastic small city with a great quality of living.
